Consequently, I was only able to pay for one A4-sized piece of flock and foil, which meant only one A4 print of each.
My print
I really love the outcome of my foil print.
When I dragged the glue through the mesh onto the paper, I only left it for five minutes to settle and when I used the heat press, the foil stuck really well and was very easy to peel off.
Some of the tiny patches of foil around the design were easy to scratch off too.
I chose a blue colour because of the Finnish flag colours, blue and white.
Unfortunately, I was unable to produce a flock print.
This is because my screen was taken away and my design was bleached a DAY before I was organising to do my flock print. Therefore, I don't have one. I'm miffed about that.
Regardless of the flock incident, I really love the foil print process! It looks brilliant and is very easy to do. I'm glad that after the screen-printing, I could quickly set up the screen again and knock out a foil print within fifteen minutes.
I would definitely use this process again for other projects, despite how expensive it actually is. It's worth spending a bit of money for!
